Hello New Friend. I upgraded my laptop today. I was using a 4 year old iMac that was really starting to show it’s age. This new 15” MacBook Pro Retina is a freakin’ beast. I can’t wait to start editing pictures on it. First up is finishing Matt and Sarah’s wedding.
So I shaved with a straight razor for the first time the other night. It is something I have wanted to try for years. I finally picked up a disposable blade razor and made it happen.
It was honestly harder than I thought it would be. I managed to get a pretty good shave without cutting myself but it wasn’t easy. The hardest part is figuring out how to hold it and get all the angles on your face. It is going to take a lot of practice to get good at it I think.
Oh man it felt awesome though! There is something about holding a crazy sharp blade to your face and slowly slicing off the hairs that just feels good. It takes so much concentration that is is almost a meditative kinda thing. You should try it something.
My wife took these pictures of me while I was shaving. They are freakin’ awesome aren’t they? For not being a “photographer” she is a pretty awesome photographer.
I photographed some new headshot for lifetime health and wellness, which is the Chiropractic office that my wife works for. These look WAY better than the old ones.
While we were jeeping Caribou Trail my wife kept jumping out and collecting any cool plants and leaves she found along the way. I wasn’t sure why, and when we got home she made this awesome fall bouquet for the apartment.
We jeeped Caribou Trail today. The Aspens are changing and it was beautiful.
The best part was at the end of the trail when we dropped down into this valley and saw all these Aspens just as the sun was setting. It was amazing. Colorado is a great place.
Dressing room selfie to show off my new fall jacket.
I bought a little vent scoop for the YJ. Makes it look kinda mean.
i wanna give a huge happy birthday to this guy, my dad, one of the best men i know.
